Virginia Woolf
Virginia Woolf (London, 25 January 1882 – Rodmell, Sussex, 28 March 1941) was an English writer and one of the leading figures of literary modernism. A central member of the Bloomsbury Group, she transformed the novel with works such as Mrs Dalloway, To the Lighthouse and Orlando, in which the streets of London become the stage for her characters’ inner lives.
